A Smooth Rolling Off the Assembly Line of the 30 feet Railway Special Equipment Container

On the eve of the Spring Festival in 2021, the 30 feet railway special equipment container samples which designed and produced with the assistance of Standard Automobile (Guangdong) were successfully rolled off the production line. After the customer’s acceptance, they were shipped to Chengdu, Sichuan before Spring Festival. It is reported that after the containers arrive in Chengdu, they will participate in China‘s One Belt And One Road plan, the link of Eurasian railway transport.

As for the structure, the dimension is 9125 x 2438 x 2400 mm (LxWxH), 10 feet shorter in length, the same width and 153 mm shorter in height than a standard 40 feet shipping container, the same height as a standard 1C container. The floor of the container is made of standard 3 mm flat steel plate, with beams and columns inside, which can be operated freely by a small crane. The door on both sides of the container is 6 meters wide, which is convenient for large equipment to go through. One pair of side doors are provided with circular holes with a diameter of 900 mm for easy equipment installation. In addition, the side of the container body is also installed with bolted pedal, which is convenient for users to climb to the top of the container.
